New look: Last year's I'm A Celebrity winner Stacey Solomon showed off her new eyebrows and straight bob as she launched her autobiography in Chelmsford today (l) - compared to her look on 2009's X Factor (r)
She won the nation's hearts on 2009's X Factor and stormed to victory on last year's I'm A Celebrity - but Stacey Solomon won't be winning many extra fans with her new makeover.
The 21-year-old singer recently had her hair dyed dark brown - and today revealed heavily coloured-in eyebrows too at her first ever book signing.
She was also sporting an unflattering straight elongated bob hair style in a marked style change from her wavy locks at the weekend, when she sang at the FA Cup final.
The mother-of-one was launching her autobiography My Story So Far at WH Smiths in Chelmsford.
There were astonishing scenes when four policemen and 10 security guards turned up to oversee an estimated 50 fans.
She wrote on her Twitter this afternoon: 'Can't believe how many people turned up today in Chelmsford for my first book signing !! Thank you so much love u all! Mwaa xxx'
The star, who lives in nearby Dagenham, was clearly hoping for more people to turn up.
Over the top: Four police officers and 10 security guards were at the event to marshall just 50 fans after the star staged the signing in school hours - meaning many young fans couldn't attend
She wrote on her Twitter yesterday: 'So excited for my first ever book signing tomorrow in Chelmsford wahooooo hope to see all of my locals there, yay.'
But many young fans were left disappointed that she was doing the book signing during school hours.
Posting on her official website, one fan opined: 'Stacey, I can't believe you are doing it at this time and date, I'm at school. Really, really wanted to meet you.'
The star, who is also the new face of Iceland and features in ads with her three-year-old son Zachary, released her book last Thursday.
Not mobbed: The police officers were left laughing and chatting among themselves as far fewer than expected fans turned up to the Chelmsford signing
She said of the tome: 'At first, I didn't want to write an autobiography because I'm only 21 but it was nice to look back on things and remember exactly how I felt.'
Stacey, who co-hosts ITV1's Saturday night show Sing If You Can with comedian Keith Lemon, is currently also rumoured to be in talks to also become the new host of The Xtra Factor.
If she is successful, she will take over from the axed Konnie Huq.
She is also currently working on her debut album and recently revealed she would love to present Big Brother when it re-launches on Channel 5 later this year.
